Ayesha Selden is a Los Angeles–based art collector whose growing collection centers Black and Brown artists across the diaspora.

Ayesha approaches collecting with both intuition and intention. While her eye is led by emotion, her strategy is informed by deep research and a commitment to supporting artists over time. She’s especially drawn to works include layered compositions, symbolic abstraction, and pieces that echo ancestral memory.

Her journey as a collector was made possible through a parallel life as a wealth strategist and real estate investor. Raised in South Philadelphia and self-made through financial discipline, Ayesha became a millionaire by her early 30s, later building a real estate portfolio of over 40 units. She authored Mud 2 Millions to share the blueprint with others. But today, art is her calling card, and her legacy.
